What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing the moment when someone understands something theyβve been struggling with, and knowing that I played a part in helping them grow. I would say my main strengths as a tutor are patience and kindness. Through my experience at CYC Ministries as a Cabin Leader, I developed patience by working closely with children of different ages and abilities, learning how to guide them at their own pace. I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is help them enjoy what they are learning. When students find learning fun and engaging, theyβre more motivated, confident, and willing to try new things.
