He's not making good use of the learning strategies during the quizzes and as a result he missed out on some marks. For next year I would like him to start relying more on the back checking and self questioning strategies as they will help him with eliminating any silly mistakes in his working out.

He couldn't complete any of the questions in the quiz (which was based on work from last week) so I've advised him to go over the notes I gave him for that week one hour prior to the quiz.
