What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

It is very satisfying to see understanding and improvement, and know that I am helping someone with their studies. I have been grateful for many excellent teachers and tutors who have given me their time and effort so that I can have the understanding that I have today. My teachers and tutors have inspired me through this, and through their dedication. I believe studying is more enjoyable when one is succeeding. Tutoring is also a relationship where I can develop and practice skills in communication, leadership and problem solving, as well as improve my social skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am grateful for my intelligence, which has allowed me, with hard work, to succeed all throughout school. However I am very aware that there are people who struggle to grasp some of the concepts I find basic. On the other hand, there are people like me who want to perfect and deepen their understanding. As a tutor I endeavour to share my knowledge and especially offer new perspectives or thought patterns. My communication and thinking skills, as well as my level of experience and engagement with the content itself, allows me to help others understand and as a result, enjoy learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In accordance with Ezymath's mission, I want to inspire my students to succeed by their own standards, whilst guiding them to get there. I think it is also crucial that a tutor helps their student to outline these standards or goals, and is very transparent in their ideas of how they will achieve them (practically). By helping a student take a step back and find an objective perspective, they can help the student to plan their efforts in their time outside of tutoring. Guiding a motivated and supported student will produce the best result and improve the student's ability to self-learn.
