What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The most enjoyable aspect of tutoring is the moment a client realises he or she understands a difficult concept, and the smile that comes across their face.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My communication skills. I am a confident and social person and believe I communicate clearly and precisely. This allows for a good relationship to be developed with my students, and allows me to explain difficult concepts in understandable ways.
My experience is another strength. I have dealt with many students at many different stages of complexity in their studies, and have learned lots about how to approach different types of students for their maximal benefit.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to teach that student the necessary tools for them to take responsibility of their own learning. It is absolutely my belief that students are able to successfully answer questions they deem "too hard" if only they consider the elements of the difficult question in more depth. This is why much of my focus is on the fundamentals of mathematics, ie, the mathematical objects they are dealing with and how they relate to one another, and the process of constructing an solid proof. From my experience, this is the most effective approach.
