What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love when someone finally understands a question/topic that they have been struggling with. From my own experience, it can be very frustrating when you are stuck on a question and cannot proceed any further. Therefore, it gives me great joy to help someone else. I also enjoy hearing when a student has been successful in an exam/quiz and that I helped this person with that topic.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my strengths is that I am very patient which I believe is important for this role. You have to give the student time to think through the questions in maths so that they can follow the steps in order to be successful. I am enthusiastic about Maths and I love the subject which is why I chose to study it at University. This means I will keep the subject interesting so that the student will not get bored and will want to work at it.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
When I was younger I received tutoring for Chemistry. I always hated going to the class and dreaded doing any homework or studying. However, going to tutoring once a week changed this because I became better at the subject and was able to understand it a lot more.
