I think that the most important things that a tutor can do for a student is to provide encouragement and meaningful feedback to students and parents on the student's achievement progress and what they can do to further extend themselves and achieve more. The most important aspect of tutoring and teaching in general is that you can see a student's progression over time. I think it is important to conduct diagnostic assessment to assess where a student's starting point is when I tutor a student for the first time on a particular topic, then formative assessing of their progress over time.Subjects Tutored ๐
