What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to help students achieve his or her goal. I enjoy building a student's confidence and sharing the joy that comes with improvement. As a student, I can relate to how stressful it can be when you don't understand concepts, and as a tutor, it' rewarding to be able to teach students what they don't understand and see how your efforts helped improve their grades and self-confidence. I love teaching because your learners want to feel as if you are both going through this journey together.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
Communication skill and active listening are my strengths. I am able to connect with children (or with older students) on a personal level. As a student myself, I can relate to their emotions and the problems they face. Benefiting from this ability, I can connect with children on a very personal level, which helps me to gain their trust.
Most important things I can do for a student π
To help students overcome academic challenges and improve their self-confidence in learning, to lead them to learn independently without needing a tutor to motivate them to do homework or keep up with content. The most important thing a mentor can do for a student is to empower them to solve their own problems on their own.
