What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find it rewarding when people say that they understand something that they didn't once get fully because of my help/support. I've never actually tutored people so I haven't seen how my help affected their grades.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
When I help people in my classes previously I guided them through the question and let them come to the answer. I think doing this helped them understand the topic better rather than just memorising the answers.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Often when people don't understand something, it's because they aren't thinking about it correctly. Different subjects require different ways of thinking. Science is very cause and effect, focused on how and why. So if you're not used to thinking in very a step by step way (this causes that and that causes this), it can be hard to understand. So I think that a tutor needs to do more than make the student study and retain information, but to get the student to be able to think critically about a topic so they can eventually solve the problems without us.
