What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring because as a tutor, I am able to solve the concerns that students may occur throughout their learning process. These problems are the obstacles to their study. Thus, I really value being able to become that stepping stone for their academic success. I like getting insight into different student's take on learning and approaches to studying. It's rewarding when you get to know them on a personal level. I like that tutoring is able to make a difference in someone's life by creating a positive influence on the future of students.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am passionate about helping others, so I think that the tutoring process is rewarding. Not only are my students being assisted, but I am also growing alongside them and improving myself each time. I am a good listener and with the right communication, I am willing to adjust my teaching speed, method or level to cater each individual student. I think learning and studying is an individual thing and students can not be compared with others. I think success in academics should be defined as self-improvement and being better then 'last time; instead of necessarily having to be 'number 1'

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As tutors, I think the most important thing we can do is to give the students a safe haven to ask any queries about their studies, that they may otherwise be afraid to ask in front of a huge group. I think this is the purpose of tutoring; to give students more confidence in their overall learning and to assure them that no question is invalid. I think an important thing we can do for students is being willing to share our own experiences with studying and learning. This can help maintain trust and show the student that as tutors we are working with them, instead of instructing them.
