I believe I am able to identify when a student is struggling with a topic despite their reluctance to ask a question about the topic. To combat this I am good at utilising active learning instead of passive learning in class to ensure students are constantly participating in the class. This will allow me to prevent students simply listening without using the new information in practice questions, which allows for concepts to be remembered more easily.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
In addition to teaching the content required to pass the examination, I believe it is also a tutors role to motivate a student to find enjoyment in the subject and encourage them to study in their own time. Tutors only have access to limited time with a student and the student’s individual drive to study alone determines their performance.
