What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being able to tutor students is a very rewarding and fun experience as it develops an individual's independence as well as being able to form valuable connections with students. I believe that having the skill of independence further helps develop problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills. Forming connections with students allows for a better understanding of the areas the student is struggling with so tutors can help them improve in those answers.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe having patience when communicating with students is a very important quality to have in order for students to be able to learn at their own pace. I am also a very lively person and am able to keep students engaged and motivated with the materials taught during class.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them become independent learners. Giving students strategies to be independent and more effective learners can be beneficial to them for the rest of their life. I think it is also important for a tutor to be able to explain the material in multiple ways as not all students can understand concepts the same way. The tutor can sense when students do not understand and willingly tries another approach of presenting the material.
