The connections you form with students. From learning about what makes them tick as a student, to learning about their fears and insecurities, to learning about their life goals and ambitions. You also over time become a role model for the students. My strengths are being able to communicate clearly and appropriately with parents and students on all manners of topics. To have the opportunity to work alongside the students, and providing them the confidence to ask questions no matter the depth. I think the most important things a tutor can do for a student are being patient and effective communication. Since youβre dealing with students and their weaknesses, you need to be patient in whatever circumstances arise. Some students learn in different ways from others, so being able to communicate this and implement it into the teaching method can help convey tough information to students.
