Something that I've always looked for in my tutors is their ability to keep me motivated in the subject when I'm struggling in it. Often times not understanding a concept or not being able to clear the doubts can lead to a demotivation and hence a lost of interest in the subject. Teachers/ tutors need to be able to keep a student's interest in the subject or at least keep them motivated enough to not completely give up on their learning because of their disinterest in the subject.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
