What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is sharing information and improving the learning of students. As someone who was tutored during high school in English, I understand the profound importance and necessity of tutoring. Being able to give students a way forward to help them grow and make the best of their abilities is extremely rewarding to me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
From my degree in Mathematics and honours in Philosophy, I have gained extraordinary skills in not only absorbing complicated information, but I have also gained the tools to properly communicate that information. In a tutoring role, I would be able to successfully communicate not only the most relevant information, but also break down complex ideas into smaller ones, so that students can gain knowledge step by step.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing for a tutor to teach a student is the skills necessary so they can feel confident in completing their studies. From my own experience being tutored the most important takeaway was the belief that I can succeed if I put in the effort. All too often during schooling can students feel down on themselves and their abilities, so making sure students feel confident in themselves and what they can achieve is a must for successful tutoring.
