Went over the principle of confidence intervals, the z values for common confidence levels and finished up with some problems, including central limit theorem problem. Jennifer was able to reproduce the steps to solving these problems
Jennifer is doing well, just needs to build her confidence up

Got through most types of problems in this area, including position, velocity and acceleration applications as well as unknown coefficients from inflection points. Jennifer did well with all the problems.
Completing everything well, just a bit rusty with product rule and factorising - so we will do some of those next week

Went over the standard normal curve and how to find probabilities for both 1 tailed and two tailed scenarios. Jennifer is going well, and starting to get the importance of a sketch of each scenario
Going well, she is starting to open up and express where she is having trouble, which is great

Went over the reverse problems, where probability is given and the data point to define the region has to be found. Then did some harder find the mean given probability and sd and comparing two normal distributions. Jennifer is quite skilful with her calculator, still working on the importance of a rough diagram to inform whether left, right or centre answers need setting up. Started on sampling theory and central limit theorem and we made a good start on this section
