My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient and would never give up on my students. I think that under stressful circumstances, adolescents tend to lose motivation, and having a supportive teacher or tutor that believes in their abilities is very important. I am also dedicated and am willing to spend extra time examining the student's curriculum, and researching different problem-solving methods or different ways to explain mathematical concepts that students struggle to understand.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing in education, whether that be in a tutorial or a formal lesson, is to ensure that it is student-centred. Every student brings different skills, interests and prior knowledge to their education, and their learning is most effective when it engages their individuality. I think that a tutor would have more opportunities to do this than a teacher, because they can afford to dedicate their attention to one student.
