I think teaching the correct and fastest way of problem solving skill is the most important, especially in topics of mathematics. Making sure if they could master each tiny parts are also essential as problems are mixed and connected in harder questions. Tutor should not only provide student with the correct answers or just saying they are wrong, but explaining the incorrect part and pointing out the misunderstood logic.
