What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I often struggled with academic anxiety during my time at school so to give the students I teach an understanding and calm environment is something that is extremely important to me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Creating a safe environment where the kids are comfortable with asking questions and aren't over upset about struggling with concepts. I am also a people person which helps me talk and build a proper relationship with the student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is respect their learning process. Not every student will automatically get how calculus works from reading a textbook, it's up to us the tutors to build a relationship with the student and figure out techniques that will be the most effective in helping them learn. We've all struggled with school so it's also important to be a friend and comfort the student when they're having a hard time, if they're comfortable with you, the more comfortable they are with sharing their struggles and the easier it becomes to help.
