Baylee's skip counting is much quicker across all of her times tables. She was able to answer most times table questions quickly and confidently, and her strategies for finding the solution to questions she doesn't know has certainly improved.
Baylee could use some practice skip counting by 7s, as well as general practice with her 6 and 7 times tables to improve her speed.

Elsie has a very solid understanding of the rules and processes of algebra. She just needs more confidence in herself, because most of the questions she deems too difficult to attempt are actually well within her abilities.
Elsie's weakest area in algebra is solving equations with variables on both sides of the equation. She was able to do these questions with some guidance, but would benefit from a review in the future. Elsie's media comprehension and analysis skills could use some work, although it can admittedly be quite difficult to understand French humour, even with English subtitles.
Throughout the lesson, Elsie improved in her approach to solving worded problems. Her maths is quite good, and her understanding of the current topic is very strong.
Throughout the lesson, Elsie improved in her approach to solving worded problems. Her maths is quite good, and her understanding of the current topic is very strong.
Elsie still needs to practice solving worded problems. A good way to improve is through trial and error, so that she learns to be resilient when solving problems and keep trying until she finds the solution. If Elsie learns to be more patient with herself, she will be able to think her way through a problem without becoming annoyed or frustrated.
Baylee made great improvement today with her conversions from mixed to improper fractions. She is also good at simplifying fractions.
Baylee made great improvement today with her conversions from mixed to improper fractions. She is also good at simplifying fractions.
Baylee often forgets that when multiplying by 10, 100, 1000 etc., all you need to do is add zeroes. This will be really important for her to remember as the class starts working with decimals more. She understands quite well how to convert percentages into fractions, but struggles a little more when decimals are involved.
