What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the feeling of excitement and jubilation that a student feels when they completely understand the concept I have attempted to teach them. Encouraging such a positive learning experience and sharing my profuse interest in particular subjects provides me with fulfilment.

I understand how other people think quite thoroughly and can therefore identify the gasps and deficiencies in their understanding which enables me to address specific learning needs and imbue deep conceptual understanding within students. Also, my patience in helping and teaching people avoids the hindering development of frustration that is common when learning is not instantaneous.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is foster the development of deep interest and passion towards the subject matter being taught. Experientially, I find this profound love of learning is attained when students have a great understanding of their subject which is extends beyond the hyper-fixation of marks and grades that breeds unhealthy and negative approaches to learning. Thus, by having passion for a subject through understanding, better academic performance becomes a byproduct of intense interest rather than an arbitrary numerical achievement.
