What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I am passionate in helping others as I get a sense of rewarding when the students I have helped can grow and succeed. I also enjoyed learning further maths in year 12 and selected topics such as calculus and functions in maths methods. Therefore when tutoring, I am able to both pass on knowledge to others and learn new concepts myself, which I enjoy this process very much.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am studying an education course, therefore my concepts of delivering concepts to others and being familiar with students is one of my strengths I will have being a tutor. As well as I am familiar with the study design. I have done further maths twice in high school, hence I am familiar with what has been taught and I can teach it well. I am really friendly towards everyone and I am an easy going person so I can communicate with students well and generate a strong connection with them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors need to get to know the students, what they are good at and their weaknesses so tutors can help them out the best. Tutors need to have the knowledge to teach students and to make sure students can learn from them efficiently. They should form a deep relationship with students so students are able to trust them with learning. Tutors should be encouraging and friendly towards students like friends rather than teachers. Tutors should also be flexible to teach as each student learn differently. If a student cannot understand, tutors should find an alternative way to deliver the content.
