What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutors learn a lot while teaching. As I enjoy learning and seeing others learn, I enjoy tutoring. It makes me truly happy to see people I teach progress.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Even when I was a student, I taught many students as I was good at academics. After teaching many, I have learnt that my main strengths are as follows: 1. I have been a hardworking student who enjoyed STEM subjects. Despite being the top student at school, I enjoyed going over what I had learnt, thus giving me many ways to teach one problem (as opposed to following one formula to solve a problem).. 2. As I have a civil engineering degree, I studied math, physics and chemistry during my undergrad. Hence, I'd say I am quite well-versed in the three subjects. 3. I am a calm and sincere person.

I feel the most important things that a tutor can do for a student are: 1. Motivate the student 2. Impart knowledge 3. Be patient and empathetic 4. Teach them to continue learning on their own
