What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy communicating and helping students in an area that I am strong in and was fortunate to acquire lot of knowledge in. I have always been passionate about numbers and data since childhood. This is evident in my completion of Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Applied Mathematics followed by Master of Data Analytics both at RMIT University. I am also a Certified Data Scientist from the Certificate of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Course run by Institute of Data.

Today's class went well. Zaki is yet to receive his end of semester exam grade back. I have advised Zaki to keep me informed as soon as he receives his grade so we can pay attention to any areas he needs to work on. He had a practice test yesterday for Matrices in lead up to the school SAC sometime next term. We went through and addressed concepts on Inverse Matrices and other multiple choice questions from his online portal to confirm his understanding of concepts that will be in next term's SAC on Matrices.
At the end of the class, Zaki was clear about the concepts and understands what to look for and how to approach the questions. He had been advised that the next few classes in lead up to in SAC, will be about allocating him questions under test conditions to see where he is at with time management skills.

Today went well. Zaki felt he did well in his end of semester exam and managed to complete it on time. I informed Zaki if teacher permits him to keep the paper, we will utilise future class time to go through it and work out any areas to develop. Otherwise, I have informed him to seek teacher's consent to take a photo of each page so that way we can go through it. Remaining class time was utilised by covering Matrices. We went through lot of module questions on Matrices from school. At the end of the class, Zaki felt confident and was able to understand the requirements to each question.
Zaki has been advised he will be emailed the tutor's handouts and exercise sheet on Matrices. I have informed Zaki to go over the tutorial handouts and complete the questions in the exercise sheet before next class. Next class will be utilised by going over some past papers on Matrices.

Class went well. I inspected Paris's solutions to last week's homework questions. She did very well obtaining perfect score to the questions. Today's class was utilised by expanding on multiplying fractions and some key pointers to look out for. We then went onto dividing algebraic fractions with worked examples demonstrated on the white board. Paris was then given 2 worksheets to practice dividing algebraic fractions. She did well in the first worksheet by obtaining full score.
Paris was given the 2nd worksheet and did well in it. For next class, we will be going through more content on the advanced questions pertaining to dividing algebraic fractions before getting Paris to do questions on this.
Went well and Paris demonstrated confidence in her understanding.
