What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping people, and seeing people succeed. Knowing that you have had a part in someone doing something good for themselves is the greatest feeling and is why I love the idea of tutoring. Making someone happy is what makes me happy, so helping and supporting someone through tutoring really excites me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I am very good at explaining things in detail, but yet still easy to understand. I also believe I am able to recognise and re-learn maths very quickly to explain it in detail. I also think my communication skills to different people, depending on their current skill level or character is very good to ensure I can explain things for their certain way of learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe there are some things a tutor should do to ensure the student learns the most. I believe that you should try to use their style of learning, whether it be visual or descriptive or anything, make sure it works for them. I also believe a tutor should not assume the student knows things, making sure they understand every step before moving on. And finally, I also think the tutor most importantly needs to be encouraging. No matter how well you can teach the subject, if the tutor does not help the student believe and feel confident in themselves, all the teaching will go to waste.
