I have not tutored formally. I have informal tutor experience but during my time teaching I like to explain the theoretical concepts in a fun, demonstrative way. For instance, explaining year 7 students the difference between centrifugal and centripetal forces and why they have different formulas in order to be computed.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor is also a mentor for children. They should look up to tutors as someone who is not just a teacher teaching a subject that will get them good grades and eventually land them a good job. Tutors must get their students to inculcate good habits, they should be their moral compasses. No book, online material or course can ever teach a student, things like being resilient, being respectful and grateful.
