What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy talking to students and hearing their own stories about their struggles in life and studies, from that I can adjust my teaching method that is suitable for each student. And I also like to tell the students my own stories about my high school life and hopefully, that will partially inspire them to study hard.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I know how to communicate and negotiate with students about their preferred methods of teaching and learning. I can easily adjust my teaching ways for each student because I acknowledge that they are different from each other. I am also responsible with my job - I want to help them to receive the highest ATAR within their ability and have the love and interest for learning Maths.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
From my perspective, the most important things a tutor can do for their students are listening to their opinions/feedback and giving them motivation. Listening skills are very essential for tutors, it helps them to have a deep insight into their students' conditions, and from that, they can adjust their teaching methods to be more suitable for the student; feedback is also vital to help the tutors to improve themselves and create a comfortable student space for the students. Furthermore, high school students usually lack of motivation so tutors need to help their students obtain motivation.
