What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy the most about tutoring is playing a small role in my student's success. Seeing them grow and become more confident in a topic they struggled with gives me a great sense of accomplishment.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My ability to explain complex concepts through analogies and simple diagrams is one of my biggest strengths as a tutor. Creating a trusting and open relationship with students allows me to understand their difficulties with the subject. By viewing them from the student's perspective, I can apply appropriate strategies to help with understanding. Another of my strengths is my willingness to receive and apply feedback from my students.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important quality of a tutor is not to judge a student based on their understanding of a subject. A tutor should be open-minded and acknowledge that everyone learns differently, and each lesson should be tailored to suit the student. A tutor should also have good communication and listening skills, we should also be able to pick up on visual cues and help the student when they seem confused or need help. Providing students with appropriate learning material is essential for student satisfaction.
