What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I believe learning new things is such an important part of life. I've found throughout my school years it is easier to learn from someone who is genuine and kind. I have previous experience working with school aged children. It was in an after school care setting, however I believe the skills i learnt there are applicable to tutoring. I learnt how to interact with and hold meaningful conversations with the children. I also gained an understanding of what children are interested in and not so interested in.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Listening and being patient. Just because something makes sense to you doesn't mean it is easy for the student. Letting the student explain where they are struggling and really listening to them can help the tutor to better understand their problem.
