Physics Tutor Piara Waters, WA
Students often tend to be awkward and shy, so a tutor need to be laid back and can keep their cool even when students are non-responsive or sometimes, rude. A tutor needs to take the student's academic struggles into account, and praise the efforts they put in and also keep track of the student's progress. The most important thing a tutor can do…

Local Reviews

EzyMath were very quick to contact me and follow up my enquiry. I received lots of information and support. The tutor they assigned for my 13yr old was a good match- they were very nice and connected with my child but not really prepared for the first lesson -but it was their first time tutoring so i was happy to give another try.

Inside WandiTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 10 student focused on completing the square to solve quadratic equations and reviewed probability assessment questions.

Another Year 10, Chloe, worked through simultaneous equations using both elimination and substitution methods.

For Year 11, Max tackled polynomial division by linear expressions and practiced finding solutions for cubic functions.

Recent Challenges

In Year 10 algebra, a student's fear of "functions with bigger numbers" led to avoidance and hesitation—resulting in incomplete working and missed practice opportunities.

Another high schooler tackling dilation of functions left report writing until the last minute, causing rushed submissions and less time for feedback; as one tutor observed, "try starting report writing earlier to not require cramming too close to due date."

In Year 6 maths, messy written work and skipping steps in division made it difficult to identify where mistakes occurred, prolonging confusion during homework review. These process habits directly impacted confidence and progress.

Recent Achievements

A tutor in Wandi recently noticed a big change with a Year 10 student who used to get stuck on quadratic equations—she now confidently recognises no real solution exists and can spot her own past mistakes.

In Year 8, another student who was hesitant to ask for help during algebra lessons has started speaking up whenever unsure, which is a shift from his old habit of guessing quietly.

Meanwhile, one younger student has begun using "greater than" and "less than" symbols independently after previously mixing them up, even drawing the arrows correctly without reminders.

What they say about our tutoring

quote

Aurelius is fantastic.  Christian and him have hit it off really well and Chris is getting a lot from Aurelius knowledge.  Much appreciated.

Everything going well at the moment, no issues and Michael is an extremely patient and competent tutor. Alex is enjoying the sessions and appears to be moving forward.

So far so good with Amelia - she has always been punctual, professional and friendly and Mila feels comfortable with her.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Success Public Library—or at your child's school (with permission), like Honeywood Primary School.
