PDHPE Tutor Mount Warren Park, QLD
My focus is to help a student achieve their best. This is achieved through working collaboratively to break down concepts and turn them into bite size digestible sizes. I can also share my experiences of studying and working across several sectors to help coach and mentor students for future endeavours. Communication across stakeholders is…

PDHPE Tutor Belivah, QLD
The actual academics itself, while being at the core of the tutoring, is not the most valuable aspect. From my experience, most students do not have the care or respect for their instructors, and mutual respect in particular is essential, because mutual trust is otherwise close to impossible for many people. You must find a balance between being…

PDHPE Tutor Cornubia, QLD
Empower and encourage them to problem solve themselves and to find a passion for learning. I still remember my fifth grade maths teacher, his passion was contagious and infectious and still to this day he is in my top three favourite teachers of all time (and I’ve been studying for 20 years!). I have well-developed interpersonal skills, from…

EzyMath have been great. Good communicators and they listen to what the student requires. Any small issues we have had, have been dealt with promptly.

Inside YatalaTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 4 student Zara explored statistics, focusing on calculating mean, median, mode, and range using class examples.

In Year 8, Aiden worked through algebraic expressions and practiced solving equations for x with step-by-step guidance.

For Year 10, Sam revised trigonometry concepts such as angles of elevation and depression and tackled converting between degrees and DMS to strengthen his understanding ahead of upcoming assessments.

Recent Challenges

A Year 8 student did not complete his assigned maths homework or make progress on a major assignment; "he has not made any attempts to the assignment yet."

This led to confusion with rounding and over-reliance on previous examples instead of independent practice.

In senior high school, one student relied heavily on formula sheets for quadratic equations but hesitated to write answers without checking, which slowed exam performance.

A Year 3 student was noticeably distracted when working through subtraction problems—requiring written questions to stay engaged.

The unfinished work often meant class time was spent revisiting basics rather than building new skills.

Recent Achievements

A tutor in Yatala noticed that a Year 10 student, who had previously hesitated to ask for help, now confidently asks questions and explains her reasoning during algebra sessions—she even completed all tasks without reminders.

Meanwhile, a Year 8 student initially struggled with percentages but, after practicing visual analogies, tackled every quiz question with ease and started attempting new problems independently.

In a recent primary session, two younger students who once waited for guidance began insisting on solving time-related questions first by themselves before asking the tutor to check their answers.

What they say about our tutoring

quote

We are very Happy with Pareise. Zoe looks forward to her lessons with her. Pareise is always on time and speaks o Zoe in a well-mannered and appropriate way.

Both Nicholas and Natasha are very happy with Mitchell and lessons are progressing beautifully.

El Abed has been in touch with me directly and we have booked a session for next week. I would just like to say once again how impressed I am with your level of customer service and the efficiency with which you have handled my queries. Im addition, I would like to say the say the same about El Abed. He has responded to my queries promptly and with professionalism.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Beenleigh Library—or at your child's school (with permission), like Mount Warren Park State School.
