The most important thing would be finding his students best learning methods and tutoring accordingly. This ensures that the particular needs are met and areas of deficiency addressed. My ability to be emphatic with the student and understand the unique challenges and difficulties he or she experiences.I also bring a unique ability to apply real…

English Tutor Gormans Hill, NSW
I think the most important thing would be to be understanding and patient with the student. I also believe that it is important to be available for any questions the student may have. I am patient. I have a good command of the English language and therefore believe I would be able to explain concepts clearly and precisely. I have children of my…

Local Reviews

It has been a really efficient & simple process getting a Tutor for my Year 12 son through Ezymaths. The level of communication & assistance received is exemplary. Jack has helped Mitch already with test results & we are only at session 5. Thank you to the Ezymaths team!

Inside LlanarthTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 7 student Ava focused on expanding and solving algebraic equations with brackets, and worked through linear equations involving both whole numbers and fractions.

Year 10 student Jack revised key trigonometry skills, including using diagrams to solve problems involving angles of elevation and depression, and also tackled financial maths concepts such as simple interest calculations.

For a Year 11 student, recent sessions addressed solving simultaneous equations using substitution methods along with rearranging algebraic expressions to change the subject.

Recent Challenges

In Year 8, one student's written work on algebraic rearrangement was often incomplete, with working steps skipped or left unclear—"she practiced showing her working out but this needs to become more of a habit."

A Year 10 student preparing for an assessment on trigonometry and Pythagoras struggled to recall key formulas when under pressure, highlighting a gap in reviewing previous feedback and textbook material.

Meanwhile, a primary-level learner avoided writing out full times tables and instead guessed answers during division tasks; the urge to get it right without visible mistakes led to less engagement with challenging questions.

Recent Achievements

A Llanarth tutor recently noticed a big shift in one Year 11 student's attitude toward algebraic fractions: after initially struggling to simplify them, she began identifying the highest common factor on her own and completed the questions with far less hesitation.

In Year 10 biology, another student moved from mixing up meiosis and mitosis to clearly explaining how each contributes to genetic variation—something he couldn't do before.

Meanwhile, a younger primary student who once needed frequent reminders now checks her time-telling answers independently and corrects small mistakes without prompting.

What they say about our tutoring

quote

Yes I have spoken with Chirag this afternoon. He seems really lovely, confident, competent and friendly and I think someone like this is going to be ideal for our Pops.

Zane is finally grasping concepts that he always found confusing in class. Alan has been very patient with Zane, as there is quite a bit of work to do. Zane would not have received this personal time in class, due to time, disruptions etc.. Thank goodness we are starting now before NAPLAN in 2 weeks and highschool in 2019.

Just an up date on Alexander. He is absolutely shining with Matt - fantastic tutor!

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Bathurst Mobile Library—or at your child's school (with permission), like Scots All Saints College, Campus West.
