Physics Tutor Drayton, QLD
A tutor can help a student develop the necessary skills,by which he can learn and understand by himself. Also, he can help identify the students weaknesses and provide alternatives by which the student can easily learn. I have patience and understanding. I also have excellent writing skills. Moreover, I like challenges and I love it when I can…

Physics Tutor Darling Heights, QLD
In my opinion, the most important thing about tutoring is creating rapport with the student. Because when the student likes you, he/she begins to trust you. And when you gain their trust, they would listen to what you are saying then they would learn what you are tutoring. As a tutor, my strength is I have a really deep foundation of Mathematics…

Local Reviews

I would highly recommend using EzyMath Tutoring for face to face or Facetime tutoring. My children's confidence in maths has increased dramatically since we have been using them. Will our tutor is excellent! We haven't even needed to stop during self isolation!

Inside NewtownTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 5 student Kagan focused on calculating areas of compound shapes and practiced solving area problems using diagrams.

In Year 11, Tom worked through financial maths concepts including annuities and compound interest, then explored network theory with practical examples.

Meanwhile, Year 12 student Bonnie tackled balancing redox reactions in Chemistry—identifying oxidised/reduced species and balancing electrons—and also reviewed logarithmic functions in Maths Methods, clarifying tricky cases step by step.

Recent Challenges

Several process challenges were evident across year levels.

In Year 11 Chemistry, technical difficulties with Zoom and sound interruptions repeatedly disrupted focus; as one tutor noted, "a 40-minute dropout on Zoom meant Tom missed the core explanation for malachite composition."

In Year 12 Maths Methods, a student lost significant progress after a computer crash, highlighting the need for more reliable backup habits during assignments.

Meanwhile, in Year 4 Mathematics, incomplete homework and weak organization—"he had not done any of the homework assigned either"—resulted in gaps that slowed his progress through multiplication practice.

Each situation left students frustrated or behind in their next session.

Recent Achievements

A Newtown tutor recently saw a big change in a Year 12 student who used to hesitate when tackling tough Chemistry questions; now he actively adapts his answers based on the data, even modifying his approach mid-task without prompting.

Another high schooler, after struggling with integration, now works through positive and negative areas methodically and has started implementing teacher feedback into his final responses—something he previously avoided.

In Year 4, one student who would often rush her times tables is now much quicker and completes them carefully after practising at home as requested.

What they say about our tutoring

quote

Jode is very happy with Lewis and has already experienced an improvement in his marks. I'm happy as Jode has increased confidence!

We are happy with Maree, she is a hands on tutor which seems to be working well with my daughter.

It's all going very well.  Billy really likes her and said she is clarifying a lot for him. I'm conscious that they are rushing through things at school so have told Mithra to take her time and not move on to new areas until she is satisfied he grasps it.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Highfields Library—or at your child's school (with permission), like St Ursula's College.
