I don’t believe in tutors who can’t help students if they have any questions which is not related exactly with the topic they are studying.
It’s very important that tutor is able to help a student with any query they have. I am really good at articulating myself. I…
A tutor can be a best friend at times. Not every time we need to make our students just do their studies. The biggest thing a tutor can contribute is his/her time. For a student getting access to his/her tutor at any time with any hurdle is the biggest thing that he/she needs. So I guess being available at all times for a student is the biggest…
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is be understanding and patient. I was a student just a few weeks ago and it was extremely stressful to learn so much knowledge. Having an understanding and patient teacher gives students freedom and reliance as they can always consult them whenever in need. This gives students a peace of mind…
They must be able to explain complicated concepts in a way that makes sense to their students and must be able to do so in a way that inspires their student want to engage in what they are doing.
Align with parents and student. Uncover learning styles, build confidence in students, improve student study skills and be compassionate and build…
To me the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to build confidence in them. A tutor can help a student in developing confidence, bringing their inner strength out, overcoming their secret fear, injecting good morals for future life. As a tutor I am always dedicated, understanding, reliable and open to students. I like to involve…
Definitely being open to questions and helping them work through any issues and problems that they have. I think also just being able to explain concepts in a simple manner, so that when built upon, they have a stronger foundation to work with. I think my biggest strengths are my communication, and my willingness to help a student understand…
The most important thing I would say would be guidance. Providing students with guidance on the correct study habits, as well as the necessary skills to succeed in high school. Having done tutoring previously, and have had 8 years of public speaking competitions, I have the necessary skills to communicate with my students, where I can alter my…
For every tutor, I believe that instilling confidence within the student is essential for the student to do well over time. As well as this, supporting the student academically but also personally can be another important thing that a tutor can develop with the student which builds self esteem, confidence and motivation. I feel that my biggest…
Helps in making the student understand the topic to let the student achieve a higher mark I have patience to deal with a student who does not understand a topic, I will keep on trying to explain until they…
Firstly, I believe making studying more easily accessible to a student by incorporating their interests into the learning process is an effective way to entice them to learn and become motivated to study on their own.
I find teaching a student how to learn and how to approach solving problems rather than teaching them what to learn refines their…
To make a child believe in themselves and also to let them know it is okay to make mistakes. What matters is how they deal with the situation and being able to teach them how to be mentally strong. I am patient and I believe I will be flexible as well. Moreover, I believe in having respect towards a child and parents. I’m an empath, I observe…
I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do is understand the needs of each student and adapt their teaching style in order to maximise the benefits that the student can get from tutoring. I've had my fair share of tutors growing up and the best tutors I've had weren't necessarily the most intelligent. They were empathetic individuals…
A tutor's purpose is to cover a student's weak points that they may not be able to understand in school. They need to be able to effectively supplement a student and allow them to reach their full potential. I believe my ability to draw on my own experiences in order to explain difficult concepts more easily. This also combines with my…
Help them reach their full potential and being there for them even out of lessons via email Patience, Ability to teach using different methods, Kindness,…
Having strong adaptability skills is vital for students. Every student is unique, hence the teaching style must be adjustable and smooth. What works for one student may not work for another, so being able to adapt your approach is essential. Also, prioritising mental health over grades is very important as students can feel assured that they have…
For establishing tutors, Ezy Math provides a solid support base to springboard them into the market. Not only does it take out the stress of sourcing and securing clients, but the CEP modules ensure the constant engagement of the learning styles of the tutor, and make it clear that all manner of support is available for those who need it. This programme really sets Ezy Math apart from other services, and allows tutors to blossom into confident, experienced mentors.
The in-home service really does provide a unique experience for clients, which they truly appreciate. It also helps to make a clear distinction in students' minds between the lessons offered at school, to the very different style of education tutors have to produce.
For all prospective tutors, Ezy Math is a great way to grow comfortable within the industry. Through the guidance of Ezy Math it has been a joy to watch students develop a real confidence because of my tutelage.
I just wanted to express my thanks to you and my son's tutor Sam. With his assistance Grady improved his maths results from virtually failing the subject to achieving a very respectable B + for his end of year 11 final grade. Sam was personable and patient, encouraging and motivating. Even though my son has decided not to continue studying maths in year 12 , I am delighted with the results he was able to achieve ,and the confidence and self- belief he attained. Please pass these comments on to Sam. Again, thank you so much.
All good so far, both Will and I are very happy with Ben. He is good value. Highly recommend him.
