What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to help students succeed. Witnessing the "aha" moments when a student grasps a challenging concept or solves a problem independently is greatly rewarding for me. It's an incredible feeling knowing that I helped someone else get the results they want.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think to be a successful tutor, there are multiple key aspects that one must have. Some of these strengths I possess is clear communication: being able to break down complex concepts in a way that is easily digestible for students. I also have patience and sincerity: students may need time to grasp content, and they need the right environment to feel comfortable in taking their time and asking questions. One more strength i have is organizational skills. I am well-organized in planning lessons, ensuring that there is a logical progression in the topics covered, helping students engage better
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
There are many things a tutor can do for a student but some of the key things is providing individualized support. Every student is different, and a tutor has to take on a different approach to be able to cater to a student's unique needs. A tutor should also be able to build a students confidence and help them excel in areas they were previously struggling in. A tutor shouldn't just be handing out answers, they should actually be promoting the students own critical thinking and give them the skills they need.
