Anunda understands the number line concept and can easily identify the greatest and least number in a series. He showed he understood the process of adding and subtracting decimals is the same as for whole numbers. And we jumped ahead in Anunda's textbook and learnt the basics of algebra. He grasped those concepts very well. He breezed through this session.
Still waiting on Anunda's recent exam results. This will be the best indicator of where his weak spots are and where we can work together to improve.

This week were did some exam preparation questions that covered concepts not covered in previous tutorial sessions. He got the hang of some complicated subtractions of large numbers, demonstrated understanding of order of operations and solving equations with multiple embedded brackets. He remembered the process for multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers. We touched on some algebra which is ahead of his classroom schedule but will make solving problems easier if he can learn this new process.
We will spend more time on algebra, number lines and wordy problem solving in future lessons.
Yes. This lesson was mostly covering similar style questions to the previous week, which Anunda demonstrated he could remember the set process to solve.

There was added complexity in some wordy problem solving style questions which we need to practice a bit more, as these are always more challenging.
