What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I unfortunately have not done much tutoring thus far, however, I have plenty of experience in helping my family and friends with their studies. I always found great fulfillment in watching them grasp a topic they had been struggling with, and proceed to excel in that topic in an exam or test.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
- I am young and I am a very social person, which means that building a rapport with young students comes very naturally.
- I am an engineering student who is knee-deep into their degree. Engineering requires skills in a plethora of subjects and also demands good social skills. This makes me very versatile in the subjects I understand and can tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for their student is to show them that they have great potential, as well as leave them with invaluable lessons that they will call upon throughout the rest of their education journey.

Benji's only major flaw is that he can be slow in answering a problem. Benji will be able to improve in this area with more practice questions and doing practice tests under timed conditions.

Benji is very good at being able to adapt given equations to fit the situation of the question. He completely understands how 3D area and surface area calculations work. He is also very good at tackling more complex questions.
His algebra can use a little bit of work, as he struggled a little bit when rearranging trigonometric equations. Benji can also improve the speed at which he completes a question, which he said he struggled with during his previous test.

Paige proved to me that she understands all the content well. Showing preparedness for her exam.
Paige did need a few nudges in the right direction for her to be able to answer some questions. This is an issue that is curbed with some extra practice and advise, something that this tutoring session provided.
Benji was able to pick everything up very quickly. He impressed me with his ability to adapt to new content which others sometimes trip up on.

Benji took some time to answer his questions. This is natural however when learning new content and learning trig ratios however. Given more exposure and practice to these topics, his speed will increase naturally.
