What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As a tutor who aspires to unlock a student's potential, I've always been inspired by the idea of helping others unlock or bolster of confidence in content-heavy subjects like Maths. If a student isn't particularly confident, I'd love to share many tips and skills that personally helped me excel, so that they can apply these methods themselves.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my core strength would be my patient yet meticulous tutoring style. I try my best to guide students by going through content they're not confident at, and teach them in a concise manner skills they can apply themselves.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor has a duty to help a student the best they can, regardless of the circumstances. If the tutor displays any sort of discriminating bias towards one student's ability to learn, then why continue to tutor?

About Jericho
Recognised Excellence in Mathematics
Jericho has consistently demonstrated a strong aptitude for mathematics, as shown by his NAPLAN Certificate of Achievement in numeracy and multiple school awards for outstanding achievement in maths. His ability to excel in challenging academic environments speaks to both his deep understanding of mathematical concepts and his commitment to helping others master them.
Supportive Peer Learning Experience
Throughout his schooling, Jericho has frequently been the go-to person among classmates seeking help with tricky maths problems or new topics. He takes pride in breaking down complex ideas into simple steps, making learning approachable and engaging for younger students. This hands-on experience has equipped him with patience and effective communication skills that are essential for tutoring.
Relatable Approach and Strong Work Ethic
As a current senior high school student who recently navigated the challenges of primary and secondary education himself, Jericho brings a relatable perspective to tutoring. He combines this understanding with a proven work ethic—evidenced by balancing studies with part-time responsibilities—to encourage students not only to improve their skills but also to enjoy the learning journey.
