What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing the moment when something “clicks†for a student when they go from feeling stuck to realising they can actually do it. Maths can feel intimidating, so I like breaking it down into simple steps and showing that it’s not as scary as it looks. It’s rewarding to see students build confidence over time, not just improve their marks.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I’m patient and good at explaining concepts in different ways until they make sense. I’m also organised, so I can plan lessons that build on each other rather than jumping around. Because I enjoy maths myself, I can bring enthusiasm that helps students stay engaged, even if it’s not their favourite subject.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Help them understand concepts rather than just memorising steps, build their confidence so they believe they can tackle problems on their own, and create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
