What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Schooling and education is such an important part of life. It requires a lot of hard work and can be daunting at times especially in the older years. But if done right, there is no better satisfaction that comes with finally understanding a concept and being able to apply it to real life. With this in mind I enjoy supporting others to achieve their goals academically and do their best. I think the most rewarding part is when you finally see your student understand the material and feel satisfied with their progress.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that my approachable and gentle manner is a strength as I will be able to encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes in a comfortable and non judgemental environment to further their learning. I also endeavour to break down complex concepts into digestible pieces of information that is easy for the student to remember and apply. I have the ability to communicate and teach individuals from a variety of backgrounds with different learning styles and am able to adapt my approach accordingly.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that it is important to help each student reach their potential and ultimately enable them to feel satisfied that they have done their best. This builds confidence in the student which is an imperative component of the learning process. Additionally, a tutor should enable the student to be an independent learner by equipping them with problem solving skills that are transferable to any subject. It is imperative to motivate the student and reward their progress at regular intervals so that they view learning as interesting and worthwhile.
