What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy watching students gain independence in their studies and achieve goals they once doubted. I am good at building up trust with students. It allows me to support not just their academic progress but also their personal growth.
From 2023 to 2025, I tutored one student consistently, supporting him through two crucial academic years. I guided him in both exam preparation and daily study habits, and it was incredibly rewarding to watch his progress in test scores, confidence, and eventually securing admission to a top university.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
My main strengths are patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills. Having taught primary shool (my own sister), high school, and university students, I know how to adjust my approach depending on each studentโs background and needs.
Besides, my leadership experience from student unions has made me organised and reliable. I can promise full devotion to tutoring work while balancing studies, as I did during undergraduate.
My multilingual ability also connects me with students from diverse backgrounds.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
It is most important to create a supportive environment that builds confidence and to provide clear strategies for improvement.
Tutors must be capable of clearly explaining content, but they should also motivate students to believe in their own ability to succeed. I usually listen carefully, identify each studentโs unique challenges, and then develop a plan that makes learning less intimidating and more engaging. By doing this, I not only ensure significant progress but also empower the student to become an independent and confident learner in the long run.
