What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Despite having no formal tutoring experience, I used to help my classmates and friends when preparing for exams and honestly, being able to help other people do well is the most satisfying part, knowing that I am able to help other people with areas of concern, knowing that I went through the same thing of needing guidance through the content. Additionally, as a previous student that underwent tutoring, what I most enjoyed about it was having that piece of mind that I was getting that extra practice in for up coming exams and further developing my skills.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have an open mindset which allows me to meet every student and being able to not judge them based on their ability. I am friendly and approachable which would allow me to establish a good relationship with the student. I have a strong work ethic, meaning if theres a topic that I need to revise in order to teach my student, I would revise the content at home before going to the student, to make sure the student is getting the most out of the session.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Aside for the tutor to be skilled in the subject they are teaching, I additionally think it's really important for the tutor to establish a good and non judgemental relationship with the student and the parents. This allows clear communication and it gives the students courage to be able to ask questions without the fear of being judged in doing so.
