As a tutor, what I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to make a meaningful difference in a student's life by helping them learn concepts they once had difficulties with and ultimately help them build confidence in their abilities, allowing them to thrive and approach challenges with a greater sense of assurance.

As a tutor, two of my greatest strengths are having patience and persistence. I am a reliable individual that is committed to teaching my students, not giving up when they are struggling and calmly approaching challenging situations. This ensures my students feel secure in their learning environment. I can also adapt my teaching methods to reflect the child's needs, like by clearly communicating ideas by using different explanations or approaches until they understand.

A tutor should also build their student's confidence by tailoring lessons that will be most effective for the student, giving them clear explanations of concepts, and by creating a safe learning environment that welcomes questions and errors. Lastly, the tutor reflecting on their performance is an important factor as this enables the tutor to continuously improve their performance and better assist their student's learning over time.
