What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy being able to tutor students in topics I am passionate about and watching them develop and grow in their knowledge along the way. I am happy to know that I get to be a part of their journey towards accomplishing their goals.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am friendly, approachable and patient. Before the lesson, I take time to talk to the students to understand what areas of a subject or topic they're having trouble with and what areas they feel confident in. This helps me get a grasp on what topics I should put emphasis on. Instead of simply dictating the concepts of a topic, I also employ different methods such as showing YouTube videos, illustrating different ideas or drawing concept maps to help students grasp the content that they're learning.Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important part about tutoring is listening to students and having clear communication. Doing this, tutors are able to adapt their teaching to suit the needs of the student and students would have a clear idea of what is expected of them during the lesson. It is also important for tutors to be friendly, approachable and empathetic to ensure that the student can talk about any problems they might have, even if it is unrelated to the lesson, this will help ease any feelings of frustration that the student may have and help them become more confident and focused during lessons.Subjects Tutored π
