What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Being able to connect with and help the student. I love having to find different ways to explain things so that a student can understand. Everyone is different and having to cater my teaching methods for different students is challenging but also exciting and interesting.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am very patient and hardworking. If i don't know a concept that a student needs help with i will work until i have taught it to myself, and then pass that knowledge on. I love working at problems, not matter how long it takes.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do is give their student confidence. Helping them to realise that they can understand a concept or solve a problem should increase their confidence in themselves, which is a vital trait to have as they move forward in high-school and further on in life.
