What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing the happy faces of students when they understand a concept as well as the academic improvments they achieve along the way.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a very approachable tutor. I understand that different students' have different strengths and weaknessess, and understand that improvement takes time, patience and dedication on my part. I want to ensure that my students are getting the best outcome out of their tutoring experience, and am confident in my ability to help. I am also able to share a few of my skills and teach students tricks and simple tips/ways to solve problems in the easiest ways possible.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To ensure that the student does not give up, even though it may be difficult at first to grasp a concept i want to ensure that the student feels confident when answering the questions. I believe as a tutor it is our responsibility to ensure the student is encouraged and feels supported.

Starna has shown a lot of improvment with how to resd time and conversion of kg to g. Satarna voiced she felt more comfortble doing the questions and understood how to approach the question. I am really happy with her progress.
Continue to revise quater to, quater past and half past on the clock, starna tends to mix these up. Continue to encourage starna to take her time when solving the question and show all working out.

Starna was able to do most of the conversions. She continued to put in the effort and try to understand what was confusing for her so that we can focus on fixing the problem.
Starna needs more practice. I acknowlege that this part of math can be difficult especially when just starting this topic. I believe with more practice starna can improve. Starna just needs to be more careful and write down each step when doing the math problems so that she can visualise it and do the correct calculation.

At the beggining of the session Starna did have some level of knowlege in terms of telling the time, however, i felt that Starna got confused between how to tell time due to mixing up the hour and minute hand. She also struggled with the 'half past' and usually would refer it as 'quater; instead. However, I felt with more practice throughout the session Starna showed significant improvement and was able to get majority of the time questions correctly.
Starna needs to practice her time daily to build her skills, e.g. practicing 'Quater to, Quater past and half past" as well as the minutes around the clock i.e. how to draw out 5:25 - starna sometimes confuses the minute and hour hand when drawing it out. But overall, very good job.

Starna showed some improvment in her stratagy to solve the multiplication questions. She shows a good level of understanding on how to begin to solve word problems (e.g.. identify key words).
Starna needs to be more careful and take her time when doing multiplication (e.g. not skipping over numbers). Need to work more on mutiplying two digit numbers that have carry on (e.g. 26x2)
