We went through the contents of her biology draft, checking it against the criteria. We also worked on the evaluation section, finding limitations in the studies and ways that future research could be conducted.
She needed to finish drafting/editing some of the things that we discussed in the session.

We went through some of the calculations for her maths PSMT, looking at turning points and quadratic parabolas. She had already completed most of the written component and the initial video footage calculations.
We had some difficulty finding the turning point for the translated version of the graph, as she did not have enough information. I think that the calculations would be easier if she moved the graph to start from the point in which the ball was shot (0,0). We discussed this in the session and she was going to try this and compare the results.

We went through the concepts covered in unit 9: further trigonometry, especially the sine rule and bearings. We looked at how the sine rule can be rearranged to find different angles or sides. We also reviewed angle rules (eg. The z rule, angles in triangles).
She was having some trouble understanding bearings, so we went through drawing diagrams for true bearings questions. Her homework was to finish the exercise and continue revising the earlier units to find potential problem areas.
We went through her revision worksheets from class, picking out which questions she needed some help with.

We reviewed rational indices, exponential growth, problem solving with quadratics, and the cosine rule. Her homework was to continue revising for the exam.
