It's important to be understanding, to listen to what a student (or parent) wants to get out of tutoring, and to focus on the student's goals. It's also important to be clear in your teaching, and to come up with creative and interesting ways to teach each student, as every student is different. I have a very enthusiastic and positive approach to…

To Mold their Lives, Teach them Right and wrong along with Morals.
No Knowledge will matter if the child doesn't end up being good human being, a Good citizen I understand subject matter in a different way, in a deductive manner.
From the students I have taught they understand that manner easily.
I have patients, that i do not mind teaching the…
Being understanding with them, and knowing their weaknesses and strengths as an individual student, to better cater to them in the ways they teach. Being able to break down the content and teach kids in a fun and interesting way so that they can understand and adapt concepts…
Again, if you can relate to your students you will have an easier time understanding what problems they're having, and adapting your style. This along with open communication and non-judgement. Being empathetic with students struggles. Trying to figure out the students learning style and tailor my teaching to…
I the the most important thing a tutor can do for their student is make their lessons fun and engaging. If we are being completely honest, most kids don't like math, so creating a lesson plan where it's not just learning, but enjoying the learning process will encourage the child to continue putting effort into math.
I believe it is also just…
The most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is to help them see the subject in the light that they do and nurture their interest in it. Failure in getting the concepts also leads to fear and that's where a tutor has to support the student , to prevent them from losing confidence in themselves. My biggest strength as a tutor is my…
Encourage them. Make them know that the emphases is on learning instead of always being correct I\'m very patient so they hopefully won\'t feel any pressure or disappointment when they get things wrong. That also leads into my reassuring…
I consider the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to slow down when explaining questions and always providing different approaches to problems. My strengths as a tutor are providing many different types of ways to understand problems. I have also found that I can connect with many students, which alllows them to feel comfortable…
Being patient with the student, having a kind nature and allowing the student to ask questions. Also establishing a safe space where the student feels comfortable enough to ask questions about their learning and set goals for their studies. My strength would be scaffolding the learning for students and breaking down questions into small steps to…
I believe that creating a comfortable, patient, stress-free environment where we can achieve as much as possible is the MOST important thing a tutor can do for a student. I believe that the connection formed with the students over time is one of my strongest strengths as a tutor. This not only helps them feel more comfortable around me, but also…
The most important thing a tutor or any teacher can do, I think, would be to instill confidence in the students own ability to do deal with the task given, whatever that task may entail. I think the way I explain and teach is very beneficial specifically in a one on one setting. I've always found it harder to teach to many people because not…
I think the most important thing is not just giving a student a surface level understanding of how to solve a problem. If you help them understand the core fundamentals, maths becomes so much easier.
Another key thing is giving each student a tailored experience to their level. We don't want to overwhelm them. I am very good at breaking down…
Every student learns at a different rate. Therefore, I believe the most important thing I can do for a student is to develop definite and positive changes in a student's understanding and grades over time, no matter the magnitude of the change. In order to not destroy the student's motivation to learning, the tutor must be supportive and nurturing…
I think the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to make learning fun so they don't feel pressured into doing work but if it's fun they are going to enjoy it more. Even little things such as brain breaks are going to benefit the child so they can give their brain a break before diving back into it. I want to make sure that all…
Help kids and teenagers become independent in learning their work and problems with chosen subjects. Have kids confident to go into tests and upload assessments with no worries about their abilities. I am outgoing, understanding, kind, and patient when it comes to helping kids. I volunteered with Girl Guides for years as a junior leader…
A tutor should meet the student on their level, and aim together for a higher but attainable goal, using realistic and actionable steps to reach it. I believe I'm openminded, relatable and strong when it comes to 1 on 1 teaching, tutoring, supporting and communicating. I have experience in teaching and working with children from various different…
A tutor should push the student as much as they possibly can. Not answer the questions for them, continue making sure the student understands throughout a session and asking the student to teach a question to the tutor.
A tutor can build the confidence of a student, reassuring the student on their strengths, and encouraging them to build and…
Putting all their effort into the student, and making sure they are your number one priority. Also being respectful towards the students, making them feel comfortable towards you. I am a good communicator, I am quite young so I'll be able to engage with most of the students better than someone older, I have fresh knowledge only just coming out of…
The most important thing I feel is to instill confidence in the student. A confident mindset to problem solving in any discipline is as important as the knowledge. A lack of confidence will not lead to problem solving and outside the box thinking, so combining core knowledge with confidence in themselves is important. I feel that I can communicate…
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is be supportive in helping students reach their full potential. Whether this be through going over difficult concepts, assisting in methods of memorisation and retaining information, or providing effective study techniques, it is the role of a tutor to support their students in areas needed.…
Laura has definitely gotten Diana to a great start. She eagerly anticipates her tutoring and is seeming to take more interest in Maths especially in the strands that she did not feel very confident about.
Diana has told me that Laura's explanations are easily understood and is simplified which makes it easy to remember. She also explains various strategies that can be used for problem solving which is good for time management when attempting to solve problems in class. Diana is able to use the notes taken during tutoring in class which is assisting with her understanding of the relevant strand or concept.
Things are going really well. Emily is a lovely young woman who has engaged well with my daughter. Tia feels comfortable with her and is learning new skills. It is great.
Thanks once again for such wonderful service and professionalism. It is such a change to receive follow up and genuine interest in the service provided . Your company is to be commended!!
We asked for assistance on a short term basis to help with some exam preparation. Our tutor was quickly able to assess our daughter's capability and provide practical assistance with problem solving and techniques.
Most importantly the tutor instilled real confidence in our daughter's ability, offering encouragement, support and reinforcement all the way. We would not hesitate to contact Ezy Math for our future needs.
