In Year 7, one student arrived without essential materials—"maybe getting some equipment? like paper, pencils, pen"—which made it harder to follow along during algebra practice.

In a senior session, as noted by a tutor, "he can get positive and negative values confused quite often," especially when calculator checks were skipped in multi-step problems.

For a Year 9 learner working on equations from worded problems, hesitation to write down information led to missed steps and incomplete solutions.

Recent Achievements

We are very happy with Harriet , thanks. Mikayla has found it very easy to relate to her , and Harriet is always approachable and responsive. As it has only been a couple of weeks and is now school holidays , we haven't got any school results to go on however I am sure we will start to see results in this area. We had a negative experience with tutoring in the past (different organisation) , so we were reluctant to go down this path again , however I think we will have success with Harriet.
