What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I most enjoy being able to meaningfully and positively help students, not just to improve their grades, but also for them to genuinely understand the topic they are studying better. In my opinion, this is a meaningful way for me to share my knowledge and skills for the betterment of others.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Apart from being well-versed in the content I teach, I am also experience at explaining it in easy-to-understand ways. I am patient and prioritise students' understanding and improvement. Where necessary, I am flexible and will adapt my teaching style to best suit each particular student's learning style, giving the student a personalised improvement plan.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do is to equip the student with transferrable skills to be able to be applied to all types of questions. More important than merely teaching the concepts is to teach the student how to think and apply. Another important thing a tutor can do for a student is to instil self-confidence in the student and to help the student better understand his or her weaknesses and strengths. These will put the student on the right track for success not just in the tutored subject, but in other subjects and aspects of life as well.
