What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping kids understand things in a way that makes sense to them. I like using practical examples and real-life situations to explain concepts—it keeps things relatable and easier to grasp. Seeing a student’s confidence grow as they start to grasp the material is the most rewarding part for me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my key strengths as a tutor is that I’ve studied in English my entire life, so I’m confident in explaining things clearly and effectively. I’ve also lived in three different countries, which helps me connect with students from diverse backgrounds and adapt my teaching style to fit their needs. I’m a strong communicator, patient, and I always try to create a comfortable space where students feel okay asking questions. I also like using real-life examples to make learning more practical and engaging.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is answer any questions the student has—no matter how small—so they never feel stuck or embarrassed to ask. It’s also really important to help them feel more comfortable with the subject and maybe even start to enjoy it. If a tutor can make learning feel less stressful and more approachable, it can completely change how a student sees that subject. Building confidence and creating a positive learning environment is key.
